Who Will You Tell?

In Mark 16:15, Jesus gave his disciples the most important job of all time. He said, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation.”

When was the last time you shared your faith? Who was the last friend you told about Jesus? The last co-worker? Are there members of your own family who do not know the unconditional love of God?

But sharing your faith can be intimidating. What if they don’t listen? Or think of you as a Jesus freak? Human nature tells you to be like everyone else. To conform to the world. Galatians 1:10 reads, “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Who are you trying to please?

Romans 3:23- “for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Everyone you know is a sinner in need of a Savior. God is holy, and we all fail to live up to His moral standards. Our sin is what keeps us from having a relationship with the Lord.

Thankfully, God offers us a solution… John 3:16- “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus Christ is the only cure for the sin that plagues our world.
